I will find you and I will unfollow you.

Documenting our lives online is the theme of this century. Social media has become a great part of human beings, we now experience virtual relationships with one another. I will discuss my personal experience and perception of social media.

Firstly, it is a great source of inspiration. Tumblr has taught me a lot about myself as black person through "Black Tumblr" (a community of different black bloggers who promote love for oneself as a black person). It has exposed me to so much creativity, that I found it within myself to pursue a career as a creative. Tumblr also doesn't show the number of followers that other people have, which creates a mystery around someone's blog, however, the number of re-blogs one has may indicate how many followers they have. There are so many pros and cons to this thing. I personally enjoy Tumblr out of all the social media apps I have!
